The 'GGD Reist Mee' app is the official app of GGDReisvaccinaties.nl. It is a free app available for both iOS and Android. The app utilizes GPS and can also be used offline. It is designed for travelers to (sub)tropical destinations.

Pages within the 'GGD Reist Mee' app are automatically updated once an internet connection is established.

Possibilities of the 'GGD Reist Mee' app:
<ul>
 <li>Create your own trip itinerary. Visit country information, select a country, and use the globe icons to save important information.</li>
 <li>The app uses GPS to send alerts if there are warnings in a specific country. Travelers only receive these alerts if they are actually in that country. They can include messages about new epidemics like Zika virus or Ebola, political unrest, or negative travel advisories.</li>
 <li>Travel tips are provided, such as 'How to prevent mosquito bites?' or 'How to prevent altitude sickness'.</li>
 <li>In the section 'What to do in case of...' questions like 'What to do in case of a dog or monkey bite?' are answered.</li>
 <li>The most relevant (tropical) diseases and vaccinations are presented.</li>
 <li>In the country finder, travelers can discover which vaccinations are required for each country on the map or in the country list.</li>
 <li>Under 'Useful links,' websites and apps relevant to travelers to (sub)tropical regions are listed.</li>
 <li>Through social media or the website, users can connect with the webcare team. The team answers travelers' questions abroad or guides them accordingly.</li>
 <li>Travelers can also schedule appointments online at a GGD in the Netherlands through the app.</li>

Information within the app is sourced from institutions like RIVM and LCR.
